Yes.  We bullied Antifa.  We punched them in the face.  We took their flags.  And we ate their pizza.

Capture the Flag!

First and foremost, I want to boast that I got to punch a commie. In the defense of one of my fellow Americans that was being attacked, I actually got to punch a commie. Granted, he was a weak, noodle-y looking thing, but I got a shot in before the cops stepped in the middle of it and prevented more. I also got a souvenir from one of them. I kept offering to give it back to them if one of them was brave enough to come and take it from me; sadly, the cowards didn’t take me up on it. As I advised readers not long ago, get yourself to a protest.

I was part of a group that organized hastily over the weekend to stand against Antifa and Austin Red Guards (a Communist group) and let them know that we weren’t going to allow them to get away with the violence and mayhem they had done in other cities. “Don’t mess with Texas” was in full effect. We had about the same number of people they did, perhaps a few less, but we were better armed, better trained and better prepared. The most prominent member of the group was CJ Grisham, Founder and President of Open Carry Texas. The rest of our group was made up of people from various groups such as III%ers, Oath Keepers, Lone Star Gun Rights and other unaffiliated patriots who are sick and tired of seeing Antifa and the commie bastards get away with the things they’ve been doing. We had an interesting group of characters. Of course we had our typical white guys. We also had a large black man, a few women, a gay Asian man and several Hispanic men. We had a guy with a Confederate flag, a guy with a shield that had a Pepe sticker and a skinny Scotsman in a kilt, wielding a broadsword. We had some loud mouth white supremacists too. We completely routed the commies and sent them home with nothing but heart break and a few bruises.

With an estimated force of 50 people maximum, these masked, hooded snowflakes shouted typical Communist garbage that they didn’t seem to understand themselves. Most of them looked like they were under 25 years old. One of them was carrying what I believe was a KelTech Sub-2000, another had a modified Ruger 10/22, and the other may have been some AK variant.

Armed Antifa with a KelTec Sub-2000

Let’s start with the guns because it was blinding obvious that they had no training whatsoever. They had them on slings with their left hand forward on the barrel as expected. Rather than having their right hands in the ready position near the trigger, they were holding them toward the back of the stock. I doubt they even carried live rounds. A woman and two small men had the guns. Looks like they had about 34.3 seconds of instruction on how to look like a badass; it clearly didn’t work. Someone standing next to me was taunting them and asking if they had ever fired a gun, if they were felons, etc. They looked like they would have shot him if they knew how.

They must have got wind of the fact that we were coming because they attempted some misdirection and had a couple of groups spread out quite a few blocks from where they were supposed to meet. We had credible information regarding their location and we started going that way. A little later, we got some additional information that they had formed up in the original location after we left, so we headed back. But we were smarter than they were. We split off in to two groups and approached them from the north and the east. They got themselves trapped on a corner with a very narrow escape path in one direction. We had them surrounded on the remaining three corners. They weren’t about to charge us or make trouble. They were getting taunted from all sides while they shouted their slogans and made weak death threats.

While they were trapped on the corner, they were joined by more of their comrades who came heavily armed with red balloons, two boxes of pizza along with a wagon full of banners, and flags. We eventually relieved them of the pizza, many of their flags, and eventually the wagon itself though the police made us give it back. During this time, a homeless woman was standing on our side of the street asking what was going on, we told them and she walked across the street and started cussing at the commies. The cops literally pushed her away a little later. I was roaring with laughter. Eventually, they got tired of standing there feeling cornered and decided to head north so they could get out in the open. Those of us on the west side of the street, double timed it up the street to get ahead and stand in front of them. Sure, they had a right to march, but remember, one of our main goal was to contain them to prevent mayhem.

Bad Tactical Formation

Once they were out in the open, it made it harder for the police and more of them were showing up including a couple of riot vans. The cops now had their batons out after a couple of skirmishes had broken out. It was during one of those early skirmishes that I punched a commie. We had a couple of guys that were really trying to get a rise out them and it apparently worked. A couple of them rushed forward and tried to overwhelm a couple of our guys. I was just a few feet away and I stepped in and punched the closest one in the side of the head. But the cops were all over it, got in the middle and broke it up. Sadly, I wasn’t close enough to any of the other skirmishes to be able to take another shot. As you can see, linking arms isn’t exactly a sound tactical formation. It was a position of surrender. Other than some mild lashing out, they knew they didn’t stand a chance of doing what they set out to do.

Some other observations. They had no tactical plan. They had no strategic plan. They had no exit plan. Ultimately, we eventually just let them go their way and left them alone. They had women and their smaller men up front at various times to use as shields. They didn’t seem to have anything but some very basic instruction on staying together. Most of their crew seemed to be overweight.
If you are going to be participating in any protests or counter-protests, perhaps these observations will help you to prepare for your event. The Hard Right is rising, folks.

Last night we did our part. We stood up to them. We showed them that we were not going to allow them to continue ruining our society. And yes, I got to punch  one, which was really, really nice. But we also hoped to help them see the error of their ways. We even helped the fatties kick off a diet, by eating all their pizza.
